Attend Core meetings (10 per year) and record minutes. Distribute minutes to core members in a timely fashion. Track action items for follow-up or reassignment. Send out meeting reminders. The Clerk is also the contact person for any open core positions.
Provides information about the CSA, repsonding to requests for information in a timely manner. Helps outreach in annual updating and producing copies of brochures and inserts. Producing labels and mailing brochures. Referring requests to farmer, treasurer, registrar etc as appropriates. Maintains mailing list and update address changes. Facilitate both old and new members signing up when they did not come to a sign-up meeting.
Secures the dates, facility and volunteers used for annual member sign-up sessions (generally 2 dates in Feb/March). The Coordinator's role is also to ensure a smooth and pleasant sign-up experience for members (e.g., contracts are preprinted and ready for members who have registered online; assigns numbers to new contracts; manages volunteers at each phase (new member training, payment, farm and distribution sign-up). Also responsible for delivering all signed contracts to the Treasurer at the completion of sign up sessions.
Coordinator must be in attendance at both sign-up sessions and attendance at monthly core meetings (especially Jan/Feb/March for planning purposes) is encouraged.
Oversees the entire distribution process on site @ Abundance (includes table set-up; weighing and box labeling; clean-up). Good organizational, decision-making and people skills necessary.
Works Thursday evenings (5:30-8:00); 6-7 distributions per season
Attendance at monthly Core meetings encouraged.
Contacts new members via phone or email within 3 weeks of season start. Answers members questions and offers assistance to address any confusion new members may be experiencing. Assists throughout the season with missed pick-up and payment reminder calls.
