What Makes Peacework Organic CSA Different?

  • We believe in paying our farmers a living wage and we accept food stamps
  • Peacework Farm is Certified Organic and a member of the Northeast Organic Farming Association
  • Our season is 26 weeks long
  • Every member contributes their share of labor at the farm and is never asked to anything beyond their abilities
  • We've been "CSA-Farming" for 25 years
  • "Core Members" run the organization so farmers can farm
  • We offer a "Yahoo Group" for member-to-member communication, a monthly newsletter and organize group purchases of additional local organic items (wine, apples, berries, etc.)
  • We love having children at the farm!
  • We grow nearly 100 different crops - and sell a "Food Book" that describes each vegetable, its nutritional value, and recipes for it
